The Lioran Ski Resort
As the premier ski resort of the Massif Central, Le Lioran boasts a ski area covering 150 hectares, with altitudes ranging from 1,160 to 1,850 meters. Featuring 43 slopes and 60 kilometers of downhill runs, it combines thrilling winter sports with breathtaking scenery, offering panoramic views of the Cantal mountains on clear days.
Perfect for families and seasoned skiers alike, the resort also offers a skating rink (open from December to March), an inflatable play park for children aged 2 and up, and the Déval’luge, a 400-meter rail sled ride through the forest.

Première station du Massif Central, le Lioran déploie un domaine skiable de 150 hectares, culminant entre 1160 et 1850 mètres d’altitude. Avec 43 pistes et 60 km de descente, elle allie sports de glisse et paysages grandioses, dévoilant par temps clair une vue imprenable sur les monts cantaliens.
Idéale pour les familles comme pour les skieurs expérimentés, la station propose également une patinoire (ouverte de décembre à mars), un parc de structures gonflables pour les enfants dès 2 ans et le Déval’luge, une descente sur rails de 400 mètres au cœur de la forêt.

The Haut Cantal: A Winter Wonderland
Nestled at the foot of Puy Mary, the Domaine du Haut Cantal is a hub of winter activities, including alpine skiing, Nordic skiing, snowshoeing, sledding, and dog sledding excursions. This pristine setting caters to thrill-seekers and those seeking peaceful moments amidst snowy landscapes.
The Haut Cantal Nordic Domain, located at Col de Serre (in the commune of Le Claux) and Lascourt, is open daily during the Christmas holidays. From 9 AM to 5 PM, visitors can rent equipment on-site and enjoy the trails.
